East China Sea Island Ecological Culture and Creative Art Curatorial Exhibition

Pingtan Island, Fujian - the largest place in China where blue tears erupt!

The azure sky, the crystal-clear sea, the soft white sand beaches, the fairytale-like windmill fields, the coastal roads between mountains and sea, the sunrise and sunset, the myriad of stars in the sky, as well as the quaint Shitoucuo fishing village and delicious yet affordable seafood ......all of these are popular scenic spots on Pingtan Island. Yet, there's one lesser-known fishing village called "Wuli Village," where all you can see are small hills on the sea, with no flat land in sight. Moreover, emphasizing the need for more awareness about island fishing villages! Volunteers will deep into the Pingtan ecological community, through field research and documentary research, mining island culture, combined with the creative perspective of secondary school students, designing cultural and creative products and sustainable development programs to help the community's sustainable development, and working together to achieve the goal of "creativity into the village".

Professional Workshops: Thematic workshops such as ASDAN Documentary, Simulated Interviews, Expressions, etc.; Island Outdoor Fun Ecology Workshop, Anthropology Fieldwork Workshop, UNDP Island Ecological Community Workshop, Art Creation and Cultural and Creative Design Workshop, and Community Building Workshop.
3. Full Guidance: Pre-trip academic training and 1V1 research guidance from the trip leader.

"Volunteering + Research", exclusively designed by ASDAN China, is an academic growth model that combines research-oriented learning and voluntary service. We refer to the authoritative theory of education, admission requirements of universities, 10 years of project experience, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to design our programs. ASDAN "Volunteering + Research" Programs cover four categories: Teach for Rural Areas, Community Support, Wildlife & Environment Conservation, and Cultural Heritage Conservation.
