As the number of pet owners continues to rise, so does the unfortunate increase in abandoned dogs and cats.According to statistics, there are 40 million stray animals in China, accounting for one-fifth of the global total of stray animals. An increasing number of these stray animals aspire to find their way into homes that need them, putting an end to their days of wandering!

Volunteers will under the joint guidance of professional mentors and philanthropic mentors in the field of stray animal welfare, immerse themselves in the frontline of stray animal protection work. They will gain an understanding of the invaluable contributions of working dogs in our daily lives, acquire skills in VR video shooting and production, learn about the current situation of stray animals, produce VR films, assist stray animal shelters in adoption efforts, and contribute to the promotion of stray animal adoption through philanthropic service.

Public Service Mentorship Team

1. Mentor Profiles: First-line mentors from a local Shanghai charity organization for stray animals; Mentors from the VR field media team, dedicated to leveraging VR and virtual characters to promote charitable causes. The team has received numerous awards for Best Documentary at film festivals for several of their works.
2. Professional Workshops: Workshops covering various themes such as ASDAN simulated interviews and expressive skills; VR video shooting techniques workshop; VR video editing and production workshop; Stray animal field research workshop.
3. Ongoing Guidance: Comprehensive guidance throughout, including pre-trip academic training and 1-on-1 guidance in charitable research/VR video production during the trip.

Engaging with Stakeholders: Direct engagement with relevant parties on research topics, including frontline workers from stray animal shelters and guide dog facilities, mentors from stray animal organizations, VR technology experts, and the general public visiting central shopping malls in Shanghai.
2. Unique Experiences: Engage in cutting-edge corporate projects such as VR painting; Visit stray animal shelters and guide dog facilities for in-depth charitable research and video shooting; Plan and organize an offline animal adoption event.
3. Visualized Outcomes: Deliver results through ASDAN online reports, research reports, or VR videos submitted to relevant stray animal charity organizations or multimedia platforms.
